2. Start reading the book "The long road" by Roll Smith (Lee las páginas 1- 7 del libro "The long Road" y busca el significado de las palabras que no conozcas)
3. In a small poster describe your famous character or journalist (En una cartelera pequeña, un octavo de cartulina, describe a tu personaje famoso o periodista. Para hacer esta tarea mira el siguiente ejemplo)

Famous character: JUANES

This is Juan Esteban Aristazabal better known as Juanes. He is a Colombian singer. He was born in Medellín, Colombia.

Describing Juanes physical appearance:

He is a handsome man. As you can see, his hair is chesnut and straight. His eyes color are between grey and hazel. He is 43 years old so he is middle aged. He has fair skin. He also has beard and moustache. His eyebrows are chesnut and thick. He has full lips. He is tall and well-built.

He is really good looking!

Let’s talk about culture

I would like the students to answer to the following questions so they do not arrive completely speechless to the chat session. 

-          What are some things that define a culture? For example, music, language? (¿Cuáles con algunas cosas que definen a una cultura? Por ejemplo, musica, lenguaje)

-          Do you know much about your own culture? (¿Sabes mucho sobre tu propia cultura?)

-          When people from other countries think about your culture, what do they usually think of? (¿Cuando personas de otros paises piensan sobre tu cultura, que piensan usualmente?)

-          What do you like about your culture? (Qué te gusta de tu cultura?)

-          What don't you like about your culture? (¿Qué no te gusta de tu cultura?)

-          What other cultures have you met people from? (¿De que culturas haz conocido gente?)

-          What aspects do you know about people from other culture? (Qué aspectos conoces sobre las personas de otra cultura?)

As we are going to talk about greetings in different cultures, I would like the students to take a look at this video so they get familiarized with the vocabulary: (Como hablaremos de los saludos en diferentes culturas, me gustaría que observaras los siguientes videos para que te familiarices con el vocabulario)
